Blaine Towers, Haywards Heath, was meant to be the first step. Named after the famous 21st century illusionist who proved that man could survive under even the worst
conditions, the building was created with overpopulation in mind. At only 30 stories high it is comparatively short, but its width is its major strength.
Combined with its tiny rooms, based on one of its namesake's most famous feats, the building's capacity far exceeds 1000.
However, Blaine towers did not solve the problem of over population. No one wants to live there. The rooms are cramped, and there is no room for 23rd century
basics like computers and beds, there is also no sense of community, and human interaction is difficult.
