Isometric projections...
With these isometric projections I have practically designed my final design. The problem which arose from the use of wood was that it has a thickness. Therefore the folding method I had developed with the card would not work as well because the individual parts would not be flush with each other. For this reason I have altered the legs so that they are more like brackets on either side of the folding bed surface, rather than part of the fold itself. The pop-up quality will be kept in tact as they will automatically fold out when the bed is extended. The major problem arising from this leg format is that they would be too thin to incorporate speakers. These would therefore have to be part of the underside of the bed. This alteration will make the bed far more practical, whilst only slightly lowering it's aesthetic appeal.

I am very pleased with this design, and through extending it into CAD I think I will be able to produce plans with which I can produce a real scale model.
