I need to produce a bed which will also work as a computer/entertainment system. Because of the constraints in the interior (there is a lack of space, and the bed must slide out of a small alcove in the wall). The computer system must be usuable, and convenient. It shouldn't feel like an add-on gimmick but rather an integral part of the design.
From my research there are two possible configurations for the bed. One is the sliding shape, whereby the bed will simply slide out of a slot in the wall, this could either happen all at once or slide out one segment at a time. The other idea would be to use a folding form, as was the case with the PDA and watch strap segments. This would mean it would take up less room, and perhaps different shapes could be formed to create different functions.
