This room is a simple variation on the panel room. A screen extends from the wall, providing
computer access, Internet access and TV viewing. A sloped join between the wall and floor on the
other side gives a comfortable place to sit for the inhabitant.
In this model I added a radiator, based on those I saw at 100% Design. A flat panel radiator
takes up very little room, and keeps with the simple, calm aesthetic of the interior.
As I said in my first ideas section I am not keen on the idea of slide out panels, as this
would have multiple problems practically. Firstly they space needed by the room would be greater
as space would be needed to store the panels around the room when they were not extended. I do however
want to incorporate the panel opposite the door, as this would be a handy place to store the bed.
I could make this product truly multifunctional by incorporating the entertainment system. This allows
for the main room to have more room for things like storage.
Next I will return to another first idea, that of the room with hanging bags. I believe this idea will be
fit well with my specifications, once I have incorporated colour.
