This is as far as I am going to develop my ideas for the interior in 2D. Here I have used the computer to add rough colour areas to a hand drawing I have produced. I have used the colour scheme ideas I developed on my mood boards so as to create a calm room, albeit with bright red used to highlight important objects. Packages are suspended in a uniform, web like, configuration on two opposing walls. This allows for storage of clothes, personal belongings, phones and PDAs. The door is, at the moment, very conventional. I want to change this through idea development. | ||

| In the top image you can see a small panel on the far end of the room. This is based on earlier ideas, where products needed by the user can be pulled out as needed. However I have decided to turn this into one, simple, fold out object. This multifunctional product will provide a place to sleep, a desk of some kind and a small networked computer. This computer will provide entertainment as well as information, as users will be able to watch television, play games and communicate with others in Blaine Towers. I will design this product in the next part of my project. |  |
