These images are of a friend's guitar. I have focused on multiple forms, and
separated them from each other. This study is in bamboo and ink.
On the top right I have looked in detail at the strings, and their connections to
the base. Here a complicated and disorderly form is repeated, making it look
uniform and ordered. I am interested in using this complication into simplicity
idea in my design, perhaps using metal shapes, springs and strings.
With the bottom left image I have singled out the organic form of the main part of the guitar.
As well as ink I have used coloured pastels to show the texture of the guitar, as it has
a plasticy marble like finish. My original idea was to use this form as part of my interior,
but I want to use a more industrial and geometric form in my final piece.
The bottom right circle was just a small catch on the side of the guitar which I noticed because of its
simplicity. The metal cylinder shape could be useful to explore in my product and interior design.
