This is likely to be my final development of the bed in card. With it I have solved the problem of supporting the bed. I have mimicked the first leg, simply placing another at the other end of the bed. This initially raised some problems, as the leg section would be directly in the middle of the computer. I have solved this problem by cutting a section out of the middle of the leg pieces. This allows the user clear access to the keyboard and screen. By placing speakers into the legs I add more functionality to the bed, as when in it's computer configuration games, television and applications will be able to feature sound, and when in bed configuration music will be able to be played either to sooth or entertain.
I will now extend this design using isometric projections and 2D drawings. This will allow me to work out the workings and dimensions of the bed, and how I will use these folding methods on materials thicker than card.
