This image, produced with a 2B pencil, is of a corkscrew resting on mirrors.
I am interested in mirrors as I like the way they can open up a room, giving the
impression of more space than is actually present. A good example of this is
the bathroom interior of Brighton Marina Cinema. The corkscrew is also reasonably
reflective, and I wanted this image to show that quality.
I used a 2B pencil in this image, so as to give the shadows and highlights of
the metal a softer look. It also meant I could soften the reflections, making
the image clearer.
