Here I have looked at the 3D form of the watch using wire and card. As well as looking at the watch form producing this model has allowed me to reacquaint myself with my card folding skills before moving on to making my design models. I am pleased with this model, as I have produced a good representation of the various parts of the watch only using folding methods and a few pins.
The metal segments that are based on the wrist strap of the watch are of particular interest as I am likely to use a large number of hinges in the design. I also like the curves of the clock face and want to use similar shapes in my final design.
